The Kilometer Club is Fremad March's way of saying thank you to all of you who time and again put on your hiking boots and walk with us out into the Danish countryside.
Every kilometer counts – and the more you walk, the greater the honors await.
It is our way of celebrating community, endurance and the love of hiking.
Kilometerthe hunt
The kilometer hunt is the beginning of the journey in the Kilometer Club – Forward March's way of paying tribute to the walkers who keep taking steps, regardless of wind and weather.
Here you collect kilometers across all Fremad March events from January 1, 2026. For each milestone you reach, you will receive a patch as a symbol of your efforts and your membership in the community.
This is where the journey begins, where you prove that you are among the enduring. Once you have completed all the steps of the Mileage Hunt, you will enter the Hall of Walkers, where your steps will become part of history.
100 km – Hiker
250 km – Scout
500 km – Shield Bearer
750 km – Warrior
1.000 km – Chief

You have now completed the Kilometer Hunt and your name is now written among the cool hikers. However, the journey does not stop – quite the opposite.
You walk on toward greater goals, new milestones, and the ultimate recognition: eternal honor in the Hall of Walkers.
For every milestone you reach, you will receive a patch. In addition, Fremad March will hold an anniversary race for you for every step you take towards Valhalla and eternal glory.

Practical information about the kilometer club
Conditions for the Kilometer Club:
1. In general
The Kilometer Club is Fremad March's official loyalty and recognition program. The purpose is to celebrate and bring together everyone who walks with us – regardless of pace, role or distance.
2. Earning kilometers
All kilometers traveled from January 1, 2026 at official Fremad March events count towards your total kilometer status.
This applies regardless of whether you participate as a hiker or as a volunteer who sets up or takes down route marking flags.
Training trips organized by Fremad March also count.
3. Requirements for registration
Kilometers are registered automatically via Fremad March's participant lists and volunteer registration.
Kilometers traveled outside of official events (e.g. private hiking) do not count.
It is the participant's responsibility to ensure correct registration of full name and personal information with each event registration.
4. Validity and development
The kilometers count first in the Kilometer Hunt. Subsequently in the lifelong Hall of Walkers.
Fremad March reserves the right to change or adjust the conditions for earning and rewarding without prior notice.

The program is built on trust and community.

1: Every 7th March is free
Your loyalty will be rewarded! All day events you participate in from January 1, 2026 will count – and once you've walked six marches, you'll get the 7th one completely free.

4: Have your own anniversary events
As you enter the Hall of Walkers and move towards Valhalla, it marks a special moment in your walking journey – a testament to dedication, perseverance and many steps on the trails. Each boundary is celebrated with an anniversary event, where you are honored alongside others who have reached a milestone. Here we pay tribute to those who have walked the distance – both in miles and in will.

For your anniversary events, you will be honored, but also gifted. Not just with a pat on the back, but special gifts from our webshop. Gifts that mark your journey. Gifts that you can wear with pride. Gifts that show that you are part of something bigger.

When do my miles start counting?
January 1, 2026. You can earn km for our events, both as a participant and as a flag raiser and flag taker. In addition, km walked on our training rides will count.
Which events count towards the kilometer club?
Events organized by Fremad March after January 1, 2026. This also applies to training trips organized by Fremad March and kilometers traveled as a flag raiser and flag taker.
When will my patches be delivered?
For your next Forward March event.
What do I do if I think my mileage has been recorded incorrectly?

What happens when I reach a new level?
You are given your patch and you set new goals to reach the next level.
Does it count if I start from a march?
No, you must have completed your registered distance.
Can I transfer my earned miles to others?
Your earned miles are yours and cannot be transferred to others.
How do I get my anniversary event when I hit a major level?
We will agree with you when your anniversary event should be. As a starting point, you can choose between advertised hiking events, but if there are special circumstances that mean you would like to have your anniversary event on a training trip, we will also find out about that.
So what can you expect at your anniversary event? Yes, it depends a lot on who you are and what you want to expose yourself to. There will be at least a patch and gifts from our webshop. Gifts that show your level in the Hall of Walkers.
